These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Autodue website and services ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Autodue. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use our Service.
2. Service Description
Autodue helps users track vehicle deadlines (such as MOT, tax, and insurance) and provides reminders and compliance information. We may contact the DVLA and other official sources to retrieve vehicle data on your behalf.
3. User Obligations
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and adding vehicles.
- You confirm you own or have permission to manage any vehicle you add to the Service.
- You must not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to access data you are not entitled to.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using our Service.
4. Account and Access
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, and software on the Service are the property of Autodue or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
6. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do our best to provide accurate reminders and data, but we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of information from third parties (including the DVLA).
- We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from reliance on the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Autodue and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to the Service
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Subscription Terms & Billing
11.1 Free and Paid Services
- Personal vehicles (cars, M1 category): Free forever, unlimited vehicles.
- Commercial vehicles (vans, N1/N2/N3 categories): Your first commercial vehicle is free.
- Additional commercial vehicles require a paid subscription.
11.2 Subscription Tiers & Pricing
- Pro: £2.99/month - Up to 2 commercial vehicles (1 free + 1 extra)
- Plus: £9.99/month - Up to 6 commercial vehicles (1 free + 5 extra)
- Max: £19.99/month - Up to 11 commercial vehicles (1 free + 10 extra)
Pricing may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
11.3 Billing & Payment
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
- Payment is processed via Apple App Store (iOS) or Stripe (Android and web).
- If payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period before access to paid features is restricted.
- You are responsible for keeping your payment details current.
11.4 Auto-Renewal
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled.
- Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
11.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- iOS: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- Android/Web: Account Settings within the app, or via the billing portal
After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are given for unused time (except during the cooling-off period).
11.6 UK Consumer Rights - Cooling-Off Period
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of your first purchase. During this period, you may cancel for a full refund.
- To exercise this right, contact [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
- By using the Service during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that you may lose this right once the service has been fully performed.
- Refunds are processed within 14 days to your original payment method.
11.7 Price Changes
- We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice.
- Existing subscribers will be notified via email before changes take effect.
- You may cancel before the new price takes effect if you do not wish to continue.
11.8 Refunds
- Cooling-off period: Full refund within 14 days of first purchase (see 11.6).
- Technical issues: If a technical problem prevents you from using the Service, contact support for assessment.
- No refunds for: Change of mind after the cooling-off period, partial months, or accounts terminated for Terms violations.
11.9 Enterprise & Fleet Pricing
